About Me
Dr. Christopher Donoghue is Professor of Sociology and Dean’s Fellow for Strategy and Data Analytics in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Montclair State University.
He also directs the MA in Social Research & Data Analysis. His books include the Sociology of Bullying and Statistics: A Tool for Social Research & Data Analysis 11/e and 12e, and he gives many talks on his research in the areas of resilience, belonging, bullying, and student success. Christopher completed his undergraduate degree at Seton Hall University, his MA at Montclair State University, and his PhD in Sociology at Fordham University where he served as a University Fellow.
A data-driven leader in student success, he leads multiple student success initiatives at Montclair State University, including the Penn Resilience Program and a longitudinal campus-wide survey on student belonging. He also offers workshops on evidence-based strategies, pedagogies, and practices that advance inclusive excellence in higher education.
